BOL Prayer Calendar 2026

“Pray without ceasing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Prayer changes things—because prayer moves the heart of God. As we enter 2026, we invite you to join us in prayer for Bread of Life—the precious children we serve and the faithful staff God has placed in our care. Each prayer lifted up becomes part of His loving work of transformation. Together, we believe for healing, provision, and renewed hope as every child grows in His grace.

Below you will find our Prayer Calendar—a daily reminder to stand with us before the Lord. On one side, you have each child’s photo and birthday, and the calendar highlights those days. Take a moment to thank God for their lives and speak blessings over their futures.

Child with shoebox gift

The Joy Giving Brings

By BOL Team • September 24, 2026
There is something special about watching a child open a Christmas gift. I have had the privilege of watching children receive Christmas shoeboxes many times over the years, but the excitement never gets old. A carefully wrapped box lands in their hands, and suddenly the air fills with anticipation and curiosity. Then you see smiles that seem to grow bigger with every item they discover. For some of these children, receiving a gift is not something they expect. They didn't earn it. They didn't do anything to deserve it. Someone they may never meet chose to give because they wanted that child to experience the joy of Christmas. Perhaps that is one reason these moments touch me so deeply.

Pray With Us – October Birthdays Throughout October, we invite you to join us in praying for the children and staff connected to Bread of Life. Birthdays are a special time. We thank God for each life involved in our programs—child, student, and staff member. As you pray, ask for God’s protection, growth, wisdom, and joy in the year ahead.
