In the early stages of the Bread of Life ministry, we embarked on a journey fueled by faith, unaware of the magnitude of God’s unfolding plan. Over two decades, our focus on rescuing and nurturing neglected children has evolved into a multifaceted ministry.
Once beneficiaries of our care, Eduard and Nicu are now pillars in our ministry. Their journey from vulnerable children to leaders mirrors the transformative power of God’s grace. As we reflect on our humble beginnings, we marvel at the unforeseen growth of our ministry. Our upcoming 100th aid shipment milestone, achieved with the tireless efforts of Eduard, Nicu, and dedicated youth, is a testament to this journey.
The recent crises in Ukraine and Turkiye have brought the importance of our mission into sharp focus. The influx of donated food has provided sustenance to those in dire need, amplifying our role as agents of hope and compassion.
Yet, with growth comes challenges. The operational costs of our expanded ministry, particularly storage and fuel, require sustained support. We would like to invite you to partner with us. For many of us, the word “graduation” brings to mind robes, diplomas, and proud family photos. But for the teenagers who are part of the Bread of Life family, this moment is so much more. It marks a profound achievement, a courageous transition into adulthood, and a first real step toward independence. Their determination inspires us and fills us with joy and pride.
Each fall, children approach the first day of school with nervous anticipation or eager excitement. As a child, I loved school. I remember preparing with a list in hand, carefully choosing pencils and notebooks. We weren’t wealthy, but my parents always found a way. Sadly, many children in Romania don’t get to experience that joy. For them, choosing school supplies or packing a backpack is out of reach. Without basic tools, some can’t attend school at all—missing the education that could shape their future.
