Still Needing Fire Wood

Firewood is one of the greatest needs our BOLCH in Brosteni has. We thank our ministry friends who have already helped us as we work to obtain the significant amount of firewood needed for the winter. Due to the energy crisis, wood has increased significantly in price and has become scarce, but by God’s grace, we have managed to locate some and reserve it, but we still need the finish raising funds to complete the purchase. We still need $13000 to ensure the children will be warm next winter.

Each fall, children approach the first day of school with nervous anticipation or eager excitement. As a child, I loved school. I remember preparing with a list in hand, carefully choosing pencils and notebooks. We weren’t wealthy, but my parents always found a way. Sadly, many children in Romania don’t get to experience that joy. For them, choosing school supplies or packing a backpack is out of reach. Without basic tools, some can’t attend school at all—missing the education that could shape their future.
