Restored to Life

You may remember Mihai from previous ministry reports. We shared with you how two years ago, he climbed a medium voltage pole and touched the transformer. As a result, he was electrocuted and fell 18 feet to the ground. Mihai suffered severe injuries to his body, especially the left hand. They transported him to the hospital, but no one thought he would live through the event because of the severity of his injuries. God performed a miracle that day and kept life in his chest. Today and after many months of therapy, he can attend school just like other children.

As we delivered school supplies and hygiene items to the children at the Ten Sticks feeding center, we were delighted to see among the other children, Mihai coming to receive his backpack for the new school year. Praise the Lord for this encouraging site! To see Mihai, who was almost dead now living and ready to attend school, is a reminder of how God can intervene in even the worst situations. We want to thank all our friends that prayed for him. We give glory to God.

It marks a profound achievement, a courageous transition into adulthood, and a first real step toward independence. Their determination inspires us and fills us with joy and pride.

Each fall, children approach the first day of school with nervous anticipation or eager excitement. As a child, I loved school. I remember preparing with a list in hand, carefully choosing pencils and notebooks. We weren’t wealthy, but my parents always found a way. Sadly, many children in Romania don’t get to experience that joy. For them, choosing school supplies or packing a backpack is out of reach. Without basic tools, some can’t attend school at all—missing the education that could shape their future.
