Help for Ukraine Continues

Communism fell in Romania in December 1989. Even though I was only eight, I still remember many details about our life before the revolution and the difficult years that followed.

Growing up in a big family, we faced many difficulties during that time, and providing food was a pressing struggle. One vivid memory I recall is of the food boxes we regularly received after the revolution. I remember the excitement my siblings and I had as we would gather around to see what was inside.

Today Christians in Ukraine are struggling to survive and cope with the effects of the war. The food boxes and aid we deliver help sustain the lives of their little ones. Never did I dream the experiences I faced as an eight-year-old, eagerly looking into a food box, would 30 years later be used by God to motivate us to do the same thing for the poor of Ukraine.

Many organizations helping in the first weeks of the war are no longer active. It is up to us, God’s children, to keep the support going for the hurting.

You can get involved and help with $35 to cover a food box with half a month’s supply of food or $70 for a food box that feeds a family of 7 members the entire month. Any other help you feel led to offer will enable us tocontinue our involvement in Ukraine.
